Timetrax works, but new Recast does not

I upgraded my old Timetrax to the new version, timetrax recast. Recast does not work. I get a:
'error 15: recording input M:\timetrax temp\capture0.mp3'
'input driver error: wrong device, or audio device is already being used by another application.'

This is strange because it is set to the same audio card as my the original timetrax and the original works. However recast throws the error and records 0:00 length files. I would post the recording log...but I don't know where the files is stored of how to export it from the program.

Also what can we do if we forgot our password, but still remember our old email address? So I can't have it reset since I no longer have access to that email address.

What is your Operating System?

From the error you are describing it sounds like you may be running W2K.

We have identified a bug in our previous Recast release.

If you would like to try the latest Beta version of the software it corrects this issue.

There is a thread in this forum about it....

The thread contains a link to the beta page.


Give it a try and let us know what you think.

yes, it's W2K.

I will try the BETA version and see if that fixes it.
