To early for this ad?

I just went to DishNetwork.COM and had to look twice at what I saw.

They had an ad up for History HD.

Telling me that I could now enjoy History Channel HD and 37 other HD channels.

Dish does not launch History HD until September 1st.

I think Dish should change the ad to say *Coming September 1st or remove the ad from rotation until History HD is online.

Below is what I saw...

This page, DISH Network -- Dish HD, lists (37). I presume History Channel HD makes (38).

They should be the first to offer the totally HD pack:

ATHD... $50 <- every HD channel (Minus the movie channels of course)

- no $20 on top of the current AT selections
- no need to wast space with the duplicate SD stuff
- pure digital, pure HD*, retransmitted in DTX 21.65


HD*= we do not produce much of the content... thus if a provider is sending us up converted curd instead of pure HD... don't blame us... rather the provider!:up

I don't see Golf/Versus in that list.

I also wonder why they don't mark Animal Planet and The Science Channel as premiums (a la NGC).

They list their PPV channel, which is not a real national one. Replace that with the Golf/VS and there you go...

PPV-HD is on the 110 sat, so it is national. Hell, it shows more HD than TNT or NFL.
