I just went to DishNetwork.COM and had to look twice at what I saw.

They had an ad up for History HD.

Telling me that I could now enjoy History Channel HD and 37 other HD channels.

Dish does not launch History HD until September 1st.

I think Dish should change the ad to say *Coming September 1st or remove the ad from rotation until History HD is online.

Below is what I saw...

Maybe they saw your article on what makes DTV the leader in HD and decided they don't have to actually offer it yet to take credit for it. :D

if E* wants some spin...

They should be the first to offer the totally HD pack:

ATHD... $50 <- every HD channel (Minus the movie channels of course)

- no $20 on top of the current AT selections
- no need to wast space with the duplicate SD stuff
- pure digital, pure HD*, retransmitted in DTX 21.65

HD*= we do not produce much of the content... thus if a provider is sending us up converted curd instead of pure HD... don't blame us... rather the provider!:up

I ordered E* 2 days ago and the first install offering was 9/1! So I guess the advert is OK by me.

Saw the following ad on FoxNews.com today.

They better beat the installers to this on the air. ;)
