Re: The looting. Closer to home, our local Red Cross Chapter was broken into by someone who threw some landscaping through the window and made off with a laptop. Maybe they thought that the Red Cross is rolling in money due to all of the donations, but I can tell you that all of the money they collect goes to the disaster fund of the ARC. I do some volunter work (techie stuff) and these people didn't need this.

Fortunately, our local Best Buy thought they would help out by donating a Pavillion notebook, but it came with Windows XP Home and won't talk to the domain. Looks like a reload with Pro is in order...
