Toledo 11 won't lock in

Toledo 11,digital 17, won't lock in on my 622 even though the signal strength is 95 minimum. This channel has been fine until this weekend. Tried tuning it in Friday and got a message box saying to "wait until locked", but it never did. I then erased it from the channel list and tried reloading manually. It shows a strong signal on the bar graph,95 to 100, but never locks in? I am picking the channel up fine on the TV,s digital tuner, but not on the 622.

Sounds like a multipath issue.

I have a 811 and have to tune it to channel 17-01 and it locks in there. This has happened several times before.

Thanks Zoomer for the suggestion but the 622 only gives you a 2 digit entry.When I checked it out to see if I could enter it your way, it would only take the 17, but immediately locked on to the signal???? So, its working now.... Who knows what the problem was? Aah,the wonderful world of electronics.

Sounds exactly like a problem we had here in Sacramento a while back. Has to do with the actual mapping of the channel. Anyways the station had to replace some equipment. I think there is a bug in the software with the receiver, also. D* receivers and older receivers like the 811 weren't affected.

Call the engineering dept. of the station.
