Do you perhaps mean Columbus/Tupelo? Columbia is a small town in extreme Southern Miss. Tupelo was hit pretty hard yesterday by a tornado.

Yeah, Columbia is closer to Biloxi/the Gulf than the area where the tornadoes hit. I think Pearl was the farthest south it went.
 
Live near Tupelo MS, had a tornado that damaged fiber cable supplying directv local channels Nbc, abc and fox don't know how long will be out

It is Columbus, Mississippi, because we just got our locals back last night. The fiber link near Tupelo was heavily damaged by the tornado. We still don't have the CW back, but I don't watch it anyway. :)
