Toshiba delays launch of new high definition DVD recorder

Japan's Toshiba Corp has postponed the sales launch of its new high-definition DVD recorder by about two weeks because of production delays.

Oh well. With DVRs today, I'm no longer sure I will even buy a hi def recorder. Maybe if I get a hi def camcorder one day, I could copy to disc. But such a product is REAL LOW on my list. Between my satellite and OTA DVRs, I'm happy.

Anyway, 2 weeks is nothing, especially this early in the product's life cycle.
