Transferring DVR Recordings

I am upgrading equipment tomorrow, replacing a 501 and 508 receiver with two 722 receivers. Is there a way to download or transfer previous recordings from the old receivers to the new, or to a storage device that can be used with the 722 receivers?

With the 501 and 508 receivers there is not a way to transfer.

Record in real time using a dvd recorder.

I hope you are aware of the new charges that will be added to your bill. The second DVR will be billed to your account as an additional $17 per month. As well as an Account based DVR Fee will also be charged.

$23 a month more, look at 2 or 3 211's with DVR enabled instead.

Starting soon, 501 & 508 receivers will also incur the $6 DVR fee.
