Will Directv be adding a Huricane Sandy channel showing local local news casts as the storm moves for this storm and the last big one? What channel will it be on if they are doing it? Thanks for help

Probably find that quicker if you do the Twitter thing on D*'s account.

I don't tweet, so I can't help in this case.

Twitter seems to be where people go when they need an answer right away.
D*'s facebook page might also be a place for this info.

I don't do FB or Twitter, but pass the info along if you find it.

I have a friend that will be in the area of the storm I think (Richmond, Va).

Shes been thru plenty of hurricanes previously, so she's ready, lived in New Bern N.C. for many years.

Channels 325 and 349 have been set up for hurricane information, but haven't been activated yet.
