Does anyone know when Tru Tv will start showing anything in HD? I wouldn't call this channel HD. It's just stretched SD in my opinion.

Like at least half of the so-called "HD" channels---S T R E C T C H-O-V I S I O N. The content just ain't there. Maybe a little better than zooming the SD channel but not a lot. JMHO

Something else I noticed, they don't even have a TRU-HD Logo in the corner like most channels do that have SD and HD and corresponding logos.

Tru in HD isn't half bad,I get an unbiased opinion from my sons by asking them to compare the HD vs SD and they always want the HD version:up

It's no different than VH1, MTV or BET. I can't believe that Viacom doesn't film in HD yet.

Even The Amazing Race on CBS is still standard def.

I hate stretch o vision. You may be able to unstretch it with your tv. It does look better than the SD version though.

I hate stretch o vision so much too. If they stretch the image then I end up watching the SD version of the channel. I do that a lot with CN.

Celebrity Rehab has been SD... I also believe Fit Club is SD. (VH1)

106 & Park is SD (BET)

I haven't watched MTV is a month, so I am unsure on those.

I never watch (Reality) MTV so I don't know. If they took it away I would not miss it one single bit.

I don't know it's really annoying though. It wasn't doing it on the 129 but now that i'm on the 72 it is doing it. must be something they are doing with the 72...

And I had a horrible signal with the 129 it was at 30. now that i'm on the 72 it's in the mid 60's.

Most of the new shows on those 3 channels are in HD.

NOT on MTV they are not. Real World, yes, but all the other new shows like Silent Library, Preggo at 16, Teen Cribs, just about ALL the other brand new episodes is in SD. At least MTV always airs in the original aspect ratio. So, one good thing for them.

It is particularly sad since they just finished airing the brand new series Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura in SD stretcho. There are still far too many shows being produced at this very moment in SD.

I noticed that too, not complaining at all but would love to see HLN in HD (unrelated I know).
