Trying to get locals! Please help.

I just moved into a high rise condo in Tempe Arizona. When the DISH techs came to install my system they could not get the western setup as my building was blocking all of the satalites. They did install a eastern Arc setup... The only problem is i do not get locals "Actual locals" or even east coast locals. I do have a address in New York as well and tried putting my Ny address on the account and no such luck... Any ideas. thank you in advanced.

NY HD locals are one 61.5 and are on spot, no way to see them in AZ. The sd local are not spot beamed but they are on 119 which is not part of the EA dish. You may want to move to the other side of the building.

The NY locals are on spotbeam on the eastern arc. You are thousands of miles outside that beam. The far west market locals are on the western arc. There are some markets on 77W on CONUS beams (see the link below) but I don't know if 77W's beam extends to your locale.

Have you tried an antenna????

I assume since you are using easteren arc you have hd????

This may work well in Tempe as you are close to Phoenix.
This may mount well on a balcony
