I plan on buying an HDTV soon and want to get one of Dish's HDTV receivers.

I live in the near western suburbs of Chicago.

I have been with Dish for approx. 7 years. I have two 510's that I lease and one 501 that I own.

I would like to replace one of the 510's with a 622. When I talked to Dish today they said I would have to send in both of the 510's and then in a couple of weeks they would send me the 622.

Does this make any sense? The CSR kept stressing "policy".

That doesn't make sense? I had (2) 301's and (1) 522 before I upgraded back on March 1st. I was told I had to send back (1) receiver in order to get the 622. I chose to send back both 301's, since the 522 and 622 are dual tuners. I would call back and talk to someone else.

Do you lease the 510s or do you own them? If you lease it would make sense for the csr to insist that you return them before they allow you to lease the 622.
