TUG OF WAR

Who do you think would win in a tug of war? A G.E. Evolution locomotive or a Caterpillar 797B dump truck?

I have a friend, Mike, who works for the railroad as a freight train engineer. My other friend, David, works for Caterpillar as a mechanic.

Mike says a locomotive, model G.E. Evolution would win the war. David says a Caterpillar 797B will win. Each would be on its proper surface to make the most amount of traction available. I don't know. So I ask you, who do you think would win?

I'll vote 797B,would think it would have way more traction (especially if you put a load in it) on it's surface than 8 skinny steel wheels on skinny steel rails.

Agree, unless you cheat and rubber coat the driving wheels of the locomotive, or put the Cat on soft sand or ice.
