Tuner 2 or just tuner 1

I have a dp twin 500 with port 1 going to my 612 *upgrading to a hopper duo soon* and port 2 going to tuner 2 on the reciever. Port 1 is tuner 1. Every time I check switch it says there's a problem and just shows an X and conn on 119. 110 is ok but only on tuner 1. There's no sats for some reason on tuner 2

I was wondering if I could aim a dish500 to get 61.5 and 72.7? Would it work with the original dp twin?

It's a picture from Google. Also they still use the 500 because that's a 500 from 2015

I wasn't talking about the Dish. I was talking about the LNB. For one thing that is a standard definition LNB, which has not been used for years.

It can work depending on what receivers you have (old, old, old tech).
If you have pre-ViP receivers they may not be able to decode the new Dish signals.

I mean, good grief. The damn thing will still work, but ONLY ins standard definition and ONLY for DP or DPP technology but Dosh STOPPED using them on new connect or upgrades years ago.
