Was doing some rewiring and my wife wanted to watch a VOD so I configured my Hopper 3 to us WIFI as Ethernet wasn't available there yet...

So got wifi all set and my wife watched her show.. and I finished wiring ethernet to where the H3 is...

I plug it in and it gets the same IP as the wifi.. but I want to turn the WIFI off and only use the ethernet.
So how do I disable the wifi?

Thanks!

I’ve found that the only workaround is to select an SSID and put in the wrong password. Then WIFI becomes disabled.

Yup realized what the issue was... the ethernet that was plugged into the Hopper 3 was for the wireless joey, not to the internet...

There you go. When I plug in an ethernet connection to the router the wireless is automatically disabled.
