can you use a dp splitter to put the uhf antenna on a dual tuner in the tv2 room

two plain-old splitters, assuming the tv2 room is fed with coax cable. one at the tv to feed one side to the tv input and the other side to the antenna, the other one at the receiver, one side to the tv2 output and the other side to the uhf antenna input.
