I have a 622 and 722 in the house. I have a couple of questions about the way they behave... wondering if the behavior can be altered.

1) Is there a particular reason that OTA stations cannot be shown on TV2? I've connected an OTA antenna for my step daughter to get her shows on The CW. Is there any way to send them to TV2?

2) Is there any way to specify TV1/TV2/OTA when setting up a DVR timer or after? For instance, if I have a DVR timer set to record TV1, is it possible to switch it to TV2?

Thanks,
Craig

1) There is only 1 OTA tuner in the 622/722 so OTA channels can only be viewing at TV1.

2) Yes. For OTA, since it is only available on TV1, it will always record using the OTA tuner for TV1. The rest of the answer depends on your setting of Record Plus in the Preferences menu. If record plus is off, which ever TV you set the timer from is where it will record. If you enable record plus yiou then set the default recording location, TV1 or TV2. If you set it as TV1, when you create a timer it will default to and record on TV1. If you set another timer for the same time it will move that one to TV2. Essentially it would always fill up TV1 first and then record to TV2 when needed. If you set TV2 as the default then the opposite happens, most programming will get recorded on TV2.

You could also change the receiver to single mode, then you would have access to OTA channels. Granted tv1 and tv2 will be watching the same thing but it is a option.

You can also record a program on the OTA tuner and TV 2 can watch the recording as it's being recorded wo your daughter can watch the CW on the OTA tuner on TV 2 that way.
