Two Hopper Plus issues

I recently upgraded to the plus and have two issues.I am a remote 40 fan after many years of muscle memory. While most functions work, the pause and stop buttons do not work any longer. They work fine if I use a Model 54 remote.
The second issue is that my new Joey 4 seems to go into a multiple reboot cycle for no apparent reason. If I do a reboot through the menu, when I can catch it, the unit seems to settle down.
If anyone has any thoughts on either of these issues, I would appreciate hearing them.

The 40 remote is not supported with the plus, sadly.
Let the software update itself overnight and see how that Joey acts in the morning

There were quite a few threads on this incompatibility when the plus first came out. At the time I had a contact at DISH who told me ithat they had bigger problems to work on.. Others who had contacts more intimately acquainted with the situation indicated that there contacts were even more adamant that ithis problem is not likely to be solved.
