U-verse opinions

I live in South Florida and I am looking at switching from Xfinity Triple play to the U-verse triple play (saving me $25/month). If anyone could give me their experience with the U-verse packages (particularly those in Florida but I'll take it from anyone). How is the picture quality (don't watch a lot of HD), how are the internet speeds (painfully slow now when 3 computers on the network at once), and how is the phone service?

Hi Bob,

We are neibors. I live down the street in Coral Springs.
Uverse as it stands right now is an excellent service.
When they first arrived to our shores three years ago
they had some major issues.
They have since been ironed out.

I have their internet, phone and tv.
I really like all three services. While Uverse
service is not the same all over, down here
its excellent. My internet ''never'' goes out. Speed wise its super fast.
Phone service is perfect.

Tv service has come along way. Some will complain that the HD picture is not on
par with Satellite or cable. When they first arrived here I would agree.
Uverse in our area has done some major upgrades. HD picture in my opinion
is on par with the satellite companies. I have them as well. Dish and direc tv.
Uverse offers a ton! Lots of channels and excellent VOD.
Plus it has multi-room viewing.

Price wise they are cheaper than both my other providers. People
just signing up will get some great promotions.
When i signed up i received a 200 dollar gift card.
Customer service is excellent!

Best part is there is no contract.
Give it a shot. You don't like it you can cancel at any time.
I think you need to have the service for 30 days in order
to get special promotions though.
