U309?!?

Can anyone confirm a U309 update on their H3, the list of bugs with U308 is long and I just wanna know when to expect?
Not at home so can't say for sure but there would be more chatter if 309 was out. Scott says it will be released "shortly". We have decided "shortly" is less time then "soon". Let's say any day now through the end of April?

The 04 error and I assume the 0 minute recordings will be fix #1.

I am predicting that the next update will be named either 309 or 310. Other than that, I have no idea what the update will fix, nor does Dish know for certain.

Thanks for the input

Good to know, thanks for the input... I got my h3 installed on 3/20 by 3/25 I had experienced almost every issue spoke on, not limited to but including "corrupted recordings/error code 4" "no sports bar mode ever" "1 min recordings" "0 min recordings" "can't start recording over from tuner menu" "disappearing recordings (still was able to watch them through the search menu)" ......called customer service on 4/2 and they insisted on sending a tech who could obviously do nothing about a software issue so he replaced my H3 with a brand spanking new H3 and to nobody's surprise history repeated itself... My H3 came with U308 pre-installed so I never had any other update to compare it to... so I'm wishful thinking, and blind hoping U309> will save me from this terrible experience!!!

I think the sports bar has to do with 4k tv's and hdcp 2.2 (or whatever that is).

Yes netflix in 4k is up on u309 (only on h3), I also noticed the signal from the H3 is always 3840x2160 before u309 it was 1080i and would change to 3840x2160 when watching 4k on demand and would go back to 1080i when I watched live tv... so I'm guessing all tv is now upscaled??? And there's no need to switch from 1080i to 4k when watching one or the other?

U309 here and OTA now adds to my favorites list. Thank you Dish !!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally a positive move toward those of us that care about DVR functions first...

Now we get to see if the corruptions are fixed and when/if OTA records without stutters.

Funny thing is with the OTA stutters, the programs that audio blip on the H3 play back mostly OK (some pixelation) on the Joey 2.0.

Not sure if the OTA DVR Recording stuttering problem is fixed in this release. But I do know this one is high on their list of things to fix.
