RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Sept. 25, 2003 – (www.ucr.edu) The University of California, Riverside today announced it has entered into a partnership agreement with KHIZ Channel 64, which allows expansion of the live television coverage of UCR’s NCAA Division I athletics program.
Under the terms of the three-year agreement, KHIZ will broadcast 17 games, which are produced by Charter Communications. KHIZ will also have the option of broadcasting UCR’s weekly 30 minute Coaches Show and away games for UCR Men’s Basketball. KHIZ broadcasts are scheduled to begin December 5th.
