OK, I am scratching my head on this one.

I've programmed my UHF-Pro to control my amp (2672)

For the last few days it will no longer power off the amp. It will turn on and control all of the other functions of the amp just fine.

I have to use the HK remote to power the amp off.

I've replaced the batteries. No luck. *sigh*

Any suggies??

Two questions:

1) you say "no longer".... So, it DID previously turn the unit on, and would turn the unit off?

2) does the HK remote control have an "On" button, AND, a separate "Off" button?

I see in your sig, you have a AVR-7200. I have the same one and have never been able to turn it off with a Dish remote, due to the fact that it uses discreet on/off by default (two buttons for power on the remote). Has the Dish remote ever turned it off before? I think it might have been a fluke.

Time to pick up a sweet learnng universal remote!

I thought it did.

Maybe I am having a flashback. Radiation from sitting too close to my monitor I guess.

I am looking at a Philips Pronto TSU6000. I'd love to have the color LCD, but I may just settle for greyscale. I dunno yet.

Thanks for the reply.
