Unavailable channels on guide

I live in the Harrisburg/Lancaster/York, PA market. Several months ago, NBC Channel 4 from the Baltimore market, as well as a CW Channel 50 from the same market started to be mapped in to my program guide despite the fact that these channels are totally blacked out in our area. It actually caused me to miss an NBC show because my wife accidentally put a show in to tape NBC 4 instead of our local NBC 8.

Why are those channels appearing on our guide when we can't get them? Is it because a small piece of our Harrisburg market is eligible to receive those stations as a neighboring market, and they have to map those channels in for the entire DMA?

I have had that happen before. It lasted about 3 months. I just made a favorites list with those channels removed just because it was annoying changing channels.

Sounds like those might be Washington DC locals.
