Update form dish

HI,
Is there anyway that i can make my 301 update on demand or do I just have to turn it off and wait, when one is aviable?

There are several open options:

The first is to go into your setup menu and make sure that your 301 is setup to accept downloads without your permission. Now if this option is already selected and you turn your receiver off every night then more than likely you already have the latest release.
After you have selected download without my permission, exit back to your channel and then press and hold the power button for 5 seconds til the light blinks and the receiver turns off. It will turn on and download the update if needed.
You can also unplug your receiver for at least 30 seconds as well.

Dish recommeds that if you don't have the latest release that you just turn off your receiver between 12mid. to 5am and it'll download automatically if you allow it to.
