Upgrade Owned Equipment?

camo, are you sure you called Dish and not one of the "close but not quite" numbers? If you want to upgrade to the Hopper 3, do it through the DIRT members on SatGuys.

The numbers he gives are not unusual. People here have reported everything from $0 for equipment and $0 for installation up to $400-500 for equipment and $90-95 for installation.

It was Dish for sure I even but my pin number in. I did press change in service/equipment upgrade option and got sent overseas. I would of preferred the H3 having 4K TV & both the same $ through Solid signal but needed to switch LNB out and getting to Dish on steep roof is dangerous this time of year. At least with Dish you actually do own the equipment, I even ordered the PnP 2 gig replacement HD for $40 off Amazon.
