Upgrading Question

I'm going to upgrade to the H20 so I can pickup the stations that I'm missing out on and was wondering for my SD tv's if there is any advantage to upgrading my old Hughs silver receivers. Will I be able to get more stations with the newer SD models as well as the newer HD?

The TV you have has nothing to due with what channels you receive. Your DirecTV receiver, and type of dish, and what you pay for have the only effect on what channels you can receive.

The only thing you will get is newer remotes, caller ID, Directv active, and the mix channels yellow box for optional audio changes.

Not really needed.

the H20 upgrade if you are in one of those select markets, will give you HD Locals, if you have the 5lnb upgrade too.
