What's the best way to go about this and what are my chances? Been a DISH customer since '97 and still using the same old plain-jane receivers (2). Getting an itch for the DVR 625, but they want a 100 bucks to send one to me and have it installed. Good deal or not?

Or, should I ring'em up (and who is customer retention anyway/number?) and say hey, DirectTV is having a nice promo right now for essentially the same cost if I stayed with you, less the 100 bucks. I'd just as soon keep your pizza-dish on my wall outside rather than switch to another. I've given you good money over the years, I don't have a problem continuing to give you good money over the next ? years, but I don't want to pay 100 bucks.

Any expert advice on this?
