that's what, three CONUS transponders freed up so far minus one for AAD/NPS? Maybe it's time to launch something new or give more bitrate to something.

Well, not exactly. There was a squeeze play to get the transponder empty for NPS. Some of that squeeze was relieved last night with the moves on 119. The Atlanta moves did not free more than 1/3 transponder.

How long until 241,243,245,and 247 vanish from my channel guide....? It was useful having them grouped there with the superstations.

I've been using them less with the addition of the New York locals in HD, but I'm assuming that they will be leaving CONUS as well soon.....

They may not leave your EPG with a move to Spotbeam, since apparently they are your locals as well. The LA ones probably still show in the LA spot.

the original nets (241-248) are just remapped to 8000 area so they probably won't go away

same with people who have a local that is part of the Supers pack. It will be in the 8000 area and 232-238

They all disapeared from my EPG on 14 Dec the second time I looked at them. The superstations are still available to me on 232-239 and in the 8000 range as well.

Atleast you had some hope for Indianapolis HD locals.. not even an uplink to give a glimmer of hope in the Cincinnati area. OTA is fine for me, but I would still like to have locals in HD for additional recording rather than in SD.

Having hope and then finding how it isn't happening is worse! The way it looks now, I'd say you'll get your Cincy locals before I get Indy.
