Used receiver

Hey guys, quick question. I recently bought a used Direct receiver at an auction and was hoping to hook it up to anther TV at my house. Since I bought it outright should there be a monthly charge for another box? It was my understanding that that $4.99 per month was a box rental fee. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated. Thanks

There will still be a mirror/activation fee of $4.99, no way around it after your first box. Assuming the account the box was previously on had no balance (which would have to be paid before it was activated) they will send you a new access card for $20.
