Using Chromecast on a hopper3 to see pictures, etc

Can I connect my xmas gift Chromecast to the USB port of my hopper 3 to cast pictures or whatever to any tv in my house?
I have a hopper3 and 2 Joey's..

No. The plug on the Chromecast is an HDMI plug and you need to plug it into the HDMI port on a TV. The USB only supplies power to the Chromecast.

Thank you rharkins, and you're absolutely correct. I just realized my mistake in asking about a usb connection since it goes in a hdmi port.
