I recently signed up for a comcast bundle that includes my phone, internet, and 71 comcast cable channels. Here is my question- Is it possible to hook my comcast cable into my DISH 622 receiver and view the channels like I can with my OTA antenna? I have hooked the cable up and done a channel scan using the Cable, HRC, and IRC settings under "HDTV Setup" and it doesn't recognize any of the channels. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You need a QAM tuner for what you're trying to do. The 622 doesn't have one, it has an ATSC tuner for OTA.

Some TVs already have a QAM tuner so you can try it on your TV.

I don't believe the Q-Box is suitable for anything other than MDUs where the satellite signal itself is being converted to QAM. Since the Q-Box appars to connect to the "satellite in" connections (not the 8VSB OTA connection) on the receiver, you wouldn't be able to have any dish(es) connected at the same time.
