Just remember you need a passport or your license and birth certificate. They have not made the passport mandatory for crossing yet but they are being a little more careful.
If you go to the casino on the canadian side go to the Falls view one. The other one is not very good. Casino Niagara on the american side is pretty decent and we won more when we went there.... fwiw

Visit love canal. I hear the real estate is cheap :p

Not to boast my town, but Lockport has some very interesting history. They have a cruise that goes thoguht the locks of the Erie Canal. You can tour the Lockport cave as well.

Ha Ha! Although a beautiful place to visit I am sure, I have already visited Times Beach, MO. :D

Oh Yeah! I forgot about that. We did that when we first moved here.
There was a little boat ride or something underground that we did too. My son was young and he enjoyed it.

We went up to see the Falls a few years ago.The Canadian side seemed to have the best views,IMO.I remember us taking a boat ride that got pretty close to the edge of the Falls. IIRC,it was named "Maid Of The Mist" or something similar to that title.Perhaps someone residing in the area may know more about it.We also dined at a nice restaurant on the Canadian side, located close to the edge of the Falls. They had the best tasting Ginger Ale that I have ever drinked. We really enjoyed that.It was a very nice view of the Falls from the restaurant.I don't remember the name of the restaurant though.Something else I would suggest,is if you go to the Falls during the 4th of July holiday,is to try and check out the fireworks show.We also went to the casinos while we were there and had a good time.We had to check out the Hard Rock Cafe too :)
