Verizon has signed an agreement with A&E Television Networks.
Channels included in deal:
A&E, The History Channel, The Biography Channel, History International, Military History Channel (First Major Provider), The History Channel en espaqol, and Crime & Investigation Network (Not Yet Launched).

Deal also covers VOD content.

Damn. I really want the Crime and Investigation Network when it launches. Whoever gets it first that I have access to (DirecTV or Dish), I'm going with. I'm leaning towards DirecTV. Anybody know if or when Verizon's Fios TV service will be available in my area of Kokomo, Indiana?

The easiest way to know is, if Verizon is already your telephone company...then probably sometime in the future they will provide Fios.

If they are NOT your telephone company, sorry your out of luck.

I'm glad Verizon is my telephone company. Maybe we can finally get something good out my way. Its about time, its 2005 for goodness sake. It will probably be five years or so before we get anything though unless they start launching in all the areas very quickly. Time is money.
