Viewing DishNetwork on PC

Guys, let's not confuse tying the output of a satellite receiver to a PC with tying a satellite feed cable to a PC. They are two VERY different things.

The first is A-OK. The second is no-go - for E* programming, but A-OK for FTA programming.

Fortunately, as has already been stated, the r5000hd is definitely not a hack device. It's only allows the user to record the data stream that your receiver is providing. In other words, you can't get any programming you're not paying for. It, quite legally, allows for the recording of Dish programming to your PC's hard drive. Which is what the original poster was asking about.

hello bugmenot you can record from satellite dish to your pc by software name is (WinGrabZ) try it ......................
