Is there any easy way to go to a future day using the guide instead of having to keep pushing the right arrow key multiple times to get to a future day for recording reasons.
Thanks
Lenny

Yup!

In the guide, to advance 12 hours press 1>2>right cursor.

to advance 24 hours press 2>4>right cursor.

And so on...

Also, the search feature is pretty handy to find a show days in the future. Either type in the name for the search or find the program name in the guide or in your DVR list or in your search history list and press the # key.

Hope this helps!!!

The 30 second skip forward button takes you ahead 24 hours. The 10 second skip back button takes you back 24 hours. It's a little easier than entering the numbers manually.

You can put in any number of hours up to 99(4+ days) and press 'Browse'.

Skip ahead 30 seconds will only advance you 1 day at a time.

Actually, I've entered 168, Skip, and gone the full week.

I think they've allowed for the full 3 digits now (at least on my 721).

I tried 3 digits on my 522. It kept going to that channel in the guide and did not advance.

I punch in 168 and it goes to GAC in the guide.

Must be just a 721 thang....

I can believe that :)

Just figured I mention what I've seen.

(I didn't try it on the 501's I have.)

I may not have use "168", but I did put in a number that jumped me well over a week ahead in the guide. I have a 522 also, so the 721 may not be capable.

my 721 does up to the full 200+ hours.

I think it might be the 50x's that aren't capable.

Maybe you have to put in a non-active channel.

Its kinda tough with me since I have AEP 'Almost Everything Package' ;)

I'd spend more time trying to find a channel value I didn't have and it would be quicker just to use '30 sec skip ahead'.
:D
