We have heard about this new VIP 222 box for a while, anyone know an expected release date? It was suppsoed to be February of 2007! Also, is this simply a 622 without DVR?

I think that's the best way to describe it. But I couldn't say when, if ever, this box will be released to customers.

What I heard at the Team Summit get together is a lot of this stuff is due "by end of summer".

I think they mean it this time.

We'll, of course, see what actually happens

well the 1000.2 was supposed to come out last fall...but it didn't come out till winter...so I'd say summer is a good bed
