Wanted to know if any VIP612 owners have had an issue where the sound will drop but if you hit the skip back button the sound will be back. So the sound is not truly gone as it comes back when you rewind it.
Dish sent me another box and it is happening less but still happening.
I am on the Eastern Arc and connect to TV via HDMI. Would rather not have to use separate audio cables.
Had some sound issues before but they were solved by realigning the dish. Sound would not come back that time even if rewound.
Have to say the VIP612 has been a little disappointing. Wish I could use the Sling Guide but that is another topic...
