I am thinking about going with a 622 for two rooms. One room has HDTV and surround sound. The other room is my bedroom, which is a SDTV, but I also have surround sound system I would connect through. How will this connect with the 622. I am thinking I will need another rcvr for this room so that I will have a digital audio connection. Am I thinking right?

The 622 only has one digital audio output, and it is for TV1. TV2 has stereo line output, and the RF modulator also produces stereo NTSC encoding. So the best you can get with respect to surround sound on TV2 is matrixed Dolby ProLogic output from the stereo pair.

that would require running RCAs from TV1 to TV2 assuming your TV2 TV has an audio out put the run your coax in to the TV and run the RCAs from the audio out of the TV to the input of your surround sound tuner.
