VIP 722 Question

I just ordered the upgrade to HD Classic Gold 250 and I'm assuming I will get the VIP 722. My question is can the unit output through the HDMI and the component video outputs simultaneously? I would like to send the HDMI to my projector and the component to my plasma in another room. I'm not talking about watching different channels at the same time, but rather when I'm in my basement I want to view HD on the projector and when I'm in my living room I would like to watch HD on my plasma.

Yep, all outputs are active at the same time. So you can do exatly what you are talking about and whatch something different on another TV via the Home Distribution coax output.
