VIP 722k replacement remote

I need to replace the remote on my VIP 722k. I've seen a few on ebay, but the model number is slightly different. My current remote is 143129, and I see some that say 142301. Does this model really matter as long as they are both 5.3 IR? Is there a better alternative as far as replacement remotes go?

A DISH 20.0 or 21.0 will make good replacements for your 5.3IR. There are many remotes that can be substituted as long as they have the same buttons
