Vip211 Auto Power-save Mode Issue

I'm trying to use my new Vip211 DISH receiver with my Hitachi 57h DVR. The Hitachi 57h DVR controls the Vip211 via IR just fine, however I've found that the After some unknown amount of time, the Vip211 goes into a power-save mode which the Hitachi doesn't know about, and the recorded show ends up being the black screen with the DISH logo bouncing around on it.

I'm hoping to find one of two possible answers:

1. can the Vip211 be programmed NOT to go into this "sleep" mode?

or

2. can the Hitachi 57h be programmed to somehow "wake up" the Vip211 first.

I know I can use a timer to wake up the Vip211, but it doesn't make sense having to program two different receivers just to get the show I want to record. Any assistance on this would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Solution found. I didn't see I that I could disable the inactivity timer control in the online options. My bad, kudos to the DISH tech who politely directed me to this.
