The problem started the week on 10/13/14.
When the receiver updates/re-boots/unplugged it will go into recovery mode
The power light blinks, receiver will not power on/locks up
Tried a replacement receiver, another hdmi cable, another hmdi input on the PDP.
It only occurs using the hdmi out/inputs.
I have owned the PDP since 8/14.
The only way I can get the receiver the function is to take out the hdmi cable from the 211 or the PDP, it will then pull down the program guide & operate normally until the next update.

PDP? Plasma Display Panel
Smart TV, Yes, The Software is current
Did a update create the problem?
Did Dish have a software update the week of 10/13??

It is possible the TV did an update that caused problems(just guessing). I know Vizio had firmware issues about a year ago. It affected some dish and DTV receivers.

That's what my post was referring to from post #3, did the TV update and cause the problem.....

I ruled out the TV doing update.
After the problem occurred I checked the TV for updates, I had the updates set on manually & it was do for a update, I then installed the latest update.

Then my best and only other guess, if it worked at one time and now it doesn't some setting was changed on the TV. CEC maybe?

DISH refund proces is it legal?

Dish EHD giving 00 error
