VIP211K Check Switch

I'm trying to clear the switch matrix on a VIP211K to set up a new antenna (camping in a RV). I've run the check switch several times with the antenna disconnected, but it stops at test 38 of 38 and won't complete so I can save the cleared matrix. Any ideas on how to get it to clear the matrix? I was able to complete this a few weeks ago at another location.

Have you done a complete power down (pull the plug) restart between attempts?

I did, but I found another post that suggested clearing the check box on "alternate" and it cleared after that.

Alternate is for use in Hawaii and Alaska, if I remember correctly

That is correct. The Alternate option should only be checked marked on equipment located in Hawaii or Alaska when running the check switch test.
