I just bought a new sharp aquos 1080p LCD television and I hooked up my 622 via an HDMI cable.
I noticed in the top right of the screen that it was outputting in 480p so I went to the system settings and tried to output in 720p or 1080i. both times the screen info changes to show that it is recieving a signal in that resolution but the screen is blank. eventually he system goes back to 480p since I can not see the picture.
any thoughts?
*edit* never mind, I was running though an HDMI switch and directly connecting it allowed me to set the resolution and now it works through the swtitch as well.
