Vip722/622/etc as a media player extender?

It would be nice to play music stored on my computer through my dish receivers. Does anybody know if E* has plans to enable a feature like this on their boxes that have ethernet ports?

That would be a nice feature. Although I dont see why they would do it without making money. If they did, expect an enabling fee. It costs $ to program something like that.

I was hoping they'd do it to give themselves a competitive edge and offer it for free, but knowing E* I'm sure they'd charge a fee.
