VIP722K using a splitter on TV2?

Can I use a regular splitter on the coax going to TV2 to split to another TV? I know that we won't be able to watch different shows, but I just want to split it off to our Daughter's room.

I thought so too, just because it is a regular coax, but just wanted to check before crawling under the house.

a lot of installs are done with a diplexer that combines the satellite input signal in and the tv2 out. Check to see if that is the case with your install just to make sure you don't cut the sat line underneath your house. That can't go through a splitter. If it is diplexed you just need to find the second diplexer (not the one behind the receiver) and run the splitter off of the vhf side
