The other day me and my Fiancee were running errands so while she was in some of the different stores I decided to tune around the FM band. I decided to check out some of the Charlotte NC stations. Man oh man some of them sounded over modulated with a ringing sound. The ringing sound didn't sound like a digital artifact yet almost sounded like to much pre emphasis. Since I live in a smaller market and this is the first time really getting to check out radio in a PPM market is that how VoltAir makes a station sound? I noticed it on WLNK 107.9, WHQC 96.1, and WRFX 99.7. Just kinda curious. Crazy question, but hey that's me.
