last Wed. apparently according to a thread on satguys which I read
only this AM. Don't know how long it will last but suspect until
midnight tonight. Others with more experience in this say these
promotions usually end midnight Sundays but this being MLK Day may
give us an extra day.

Hi, Gary,
Over the years I've read that sat providers tease you with a premium
channel for a few days to get you to sign up. According to what I
read over on satguys this seems to be what VOOM? or Starz? is doing on
VOOM at this point. For how long? Got me. But enjoying as we only
subscribe to HBO in addition to basic.

Yep, still pouring here in Seattle but we have VOOM HD to watch, Gill

Are you saying that Starz is being show free for a period to give
you a taste and then they will cut it off. Local Cable used to do
that all the time. I also have basic and HBO, I am not too
interested in the other prem cannels unless the cost was lower.
