I've had Voom for 7 months now and other than the
typical little quirks I have had NO problems. I
think the HD & SD picture quality is great (compared
to other providers) & Voom is doing a good job.
They are a small company and still growing.

For all those who do nothing but bitch and cry about
Voom and threaten to leave please leave NOW and give
some of us a little peace and quiet.

I had DTV for 6 years and dealt with the same rain
fade, freeze-ups, billing isues, and other problems
you guys complain about on here and DTV has been around
10+ years.

I had DirecTV for over 6 years.. from the very beginning at launch.. and the
worst I ever had was rain fade. Now, on the other hand, I hate the company
and will never again grace them with a dollar of my hard earned cash.

I actually cancelled my Voom today. The guide flipping issue the other day
was the final straw. Rain fade I can handle, and it's been minimal. It's
the lockups, resets, and lack of action on Voom's part that have given me
problem. The answer is always "have you unplugged it" or "we can send out
someone with a new receiver." The problem is the software, not the
hardware. A swap will not fix it.

I gave them the long list of reasons I left and I hope it makes a
difference. If not, at least I tried. I can't wait for FoodTV, HGTV, and
the DVR any longer. I can have all those right now from Time Warner for the
same money.

PS - Anyone want to take over as a moderator. I'll keep at it until we get
a few more volunteers, and I'll keep watching the list. Hopefully things
will shape up.
