[VOOM] dish direction

what dirction does the voom dish has to be pointing at? I currently
have directv. cann't get HD due to a tree in the way.

The Voom STB and dish work best when the dish is pointed directly at the satellite. It kind of depends on where you are when you are doing the pointing.

I also recommend that you put the antenna someplace where the tree won't interfere with the signal. Maybe you should move your home over a couple of feet.

I had another thought about this. Maybe you could build a platform in that dangfangled tree and put the antennas up there. Then you could climb up on the platform and maybe see the HD from on top of the tree. If you like it you could then use mirrors or something to get the HD picture down out of the tree to your house. Or maybe you could put the TV up in the tree too. You could then sit in your house and use binoculars or a lookin' glass to see the HD pictur.
