[VOOM] Guide loss

I am curious if there is anyway to get your guide back when you lose it?
For example, last night I was scrolling through the channels, then I noticed
that the guide was moving but I was on the same channels. I then couldn't
get any of the other guide functions to work, I couldn't even get the box to
shut off from the remote. The only thing I could do was unplug the box and
then plug back in, when I did this I had no guide and it wasn't until the
next day that it was back. Any reason for this? How about a fix?

That's the recurring lockup while changing channels. I seemed to get that
back every time they upgraded software. You just have to wait till it
re-downloads.

You can also press the power button on the front of the STB until the box reboots. It takes about 5 seconds..

I had tried that, but it didn't shut off. It was kinda strange?!?!!?
